Matcha Coconut Water Vanilla Mint Date Smoothie

The above photo was taken from my balcony in the springtime. After living in ghetto West Oakland (which I did love) livng here is a paradise. Especially breathing this air and sipping on a smoothie with a coffee on a lazy morning. If I could only have one smoothie for the rest of my life, it would be this one. I also make variations on it too, sometimes adding frozen banana or using an almond or soy milk for a creamier shake. If you're training or need the extra protein, this shake is also delicious with vanilla protein powder.

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1-2 tsp of organic matcha green tea powder
  • 2-3 pitted medjool dates
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1-2 handfuls of mint leaves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ice

 

HOW TO:

  1. Blend it up in your blender. Wheez the juice!
